Our analysis
Despite numerous significant flaws in controls, puzzle design, voice acting, and an ending that betrays its Lovecraftian themes, Shadow of the Comet remains a remarkable first adaptation of H.P. Lovecraft's universe that effectively captures cosmic horror atmosphere and paranormal mystery, making it worth playing for fans of the genre.
