Destiny 2: The Final Shape

Our analysis

A transformative expansion that finally delivers on Destiny 2's promise, standing as the best the game has ever been. The campaign centers its characters with the strongest, most emotionally resonant storytelling in the series, while the Pale Heart, the Dread enemy faction, Prismatic subclasses, and standout activities like Dual Destiny and the Salvation's Edge raid refresh the combat. Only occasional cramped arena design holds it back from a triumphant culmination of the decade-long narrative.
