Our analysis

Wait for sale, almost deep sale. Too much grind and less enjoyable level design hold back an otherwise interesting tactics game.

Our analysis

An excellent deck-building tactical game featuring beloved Marvel characters. While not traditional combat, the card-based strategy with character interactions creates an engaging experience that successfully blends genres.

Our analysis

Excellent card-based tactical combat undermined by insufferable Abbey sections and constant micro-transactions. Too much time on social aspect.

Our analysis

A confused mishmash of XCOM-style tactical combat, a card-battle system, occult theming, and a dating sim that throws too much at the player at once. The positioning- and environment-focused card combat is genuinely enjoyable, but unskippable animations, awkward gamepad controls in exploration, plasticky Sims-like graphics, relentless quippy dialogue, and tacked-on live-service crafting drag it down. It feels like an overlong corporate brainstorm forced to live together.

Our analysis

Firaxis turn-based tactics with card system, not XCOM. Combat is engaging, position-based, satisfying. Strong roster (Blade, Ghost Rider, Magik, Nico). Story setup exciting but tone is surprisingly lighthearted, grating teen drama, and cringe dialogue (especially Tony Stark's model). Abbey hub has 50/50 social-sim busywork (Persona-like) that can feel tedious. Lengthy game, good for Marvel fans with high tolerance for deviation. Requires comic knowledge + strategy interest + social-sim patience.

Our analysis

Excellent turn-based combat system with engaging deck building but weighed down by generic story, repetitive missions, and excessive dialogue that requires skipping.
