A pleasant but dated nostalgia trip bundling the original MySims and MySims Kingdom, best enjoyed in handheld where full touchscreen support makes the constant building and customizing feel natural. Its relaxed, slower-paced town-building and detailed creation systems have charm, but simplicity, repetition, and limited gameplay show their age against modern life sims. The biggest drawback is the right-stick controls on a controller, which are fiddly with no sensitivity adjustment, though performance is the best on a Nintendo platform with native resolution, 60fps, and short load times.
