NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139...

Our analysis

The NieR Replicant remaster is worth revisiting for its memorable narrative, fluid combat and added story content. Its visual upgrade is average, but the excellent voice acting and soundtrack enrich the experience.

Our analysis

NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139... is a remarkable remaster with smoother combat, powerful characters, stunning music and meaningful new content. Repetitive quests and demanding ending requirements test patience, but the emotional payoff makes it a classic.

Our analysis

The 2021 NieR Replicant remake keeps the original's slow, fetch-quest-heavy opening and dated quests and dungeons, but its Automata-style combat is a huge improvement, the music is phenomenal, and the experimental story makes it worth getting through.
