Our analysis

A vast improvement on the original heist shooter, packed with RPG progression, a huge variety of dynamic heists, and deep weapon and skill upgrades. Replay value is enormous and the sound design and teamwork shine, but the friendly and enemy AI is badly broken and the grind to unlock everything is punishingly slow. Worth buying despite the rough edges.

Our analysis

A remarkably faithful Switch port of the co-op heist shooter that retains nearly all the content, weapons, and masks of other versions, plus a touchscreen UI overhaul and a Switch-exclusive hacker character. The repetitive heist template is both consistently fun and numbing, and it shines with real teammates since the AI is poor. Performance gets choppy in busy areas, visuals took a hit, and launching a year behind on content alongside a high price and no voice chat are notable drawbacks.
