Our analysis
Flying Wild Hog's retelling of the classic shooter is fast, gorgeous FPS action with slick level layouts, amazing swordplay, tons of enemies, upgrades, weapons and secrets, and no engine hitches; only the blur filter and mirrors cause issues on PC.
Our analysis
Mack calls the Flying Wild Hog reboot a brutal, funny, Serious Sam-with-a-katana shooter with spell and skill upgrades. It gets repetitive after a while, but he gives it a thumbs up and says to buy it, on sale if cash is tight.
Our analysis
The Shadow Warrior remake has occasionally decent combat and dialogue, but clunky fighting, overdesign, dull levels and poor plotting undermine it. The reviewer concludes that it was not much good.
