Our analysis
Sonic Adventure 2 on Dreamcast has exhilarating Sonic and Shadow stages, but tedious treasure hunts, imprecise controls and drawn-out gameplay overwhelm those highs. The creator cannot recommend it beyond hardcore Sonic fans.

Our analysis
A cult classic that deserves recognition despite the misconception that no 3D Sonic game is good. Features engaging story with character development, varied gameplay mechanics, excellent music, and memorable moments like Shadow's redemption arc.
