Overall, despite its low-budget presentation and barebones features, Tales of Innocence reveals a ton of heart through its voluminous skits, while keeping you hooked with its simple yet addictive art system, fun battle mechanics, and catchy music. All backed by a refreshingly original story that had me guessing up until the end. It may not have seen a western release yet, but that doesn't mean it's one Tales fans should skip. Quite the opposite. This charming little underlooked entry clocking in under 30 hours just might be worth your time. I'm sure glad I played it.77
