Our analysis
A true, refined sequel that builds on its predecessor with deeper animal systems, a massive content-packed open world, dual-leader branching missions that add real replayability, excellent music, and a terrifyingly memorable villain elevated by strong voice acting. Gunplay feels a touch unsatisfying due to weak recoil and the lack of PvP map-making is a missed opportunity, but it remains a clear buy with 20-30+ hours of fun.

Far Cry 4 is Far Cry 3 with more on top: an immersive open world with dangerous wildlife, crafting, towers, side quests and co-op. The PC port is sloppy, with mouse lag and poor performance that need manual fixes, but once it runs right it is a long, fun game that is well worth the money.
