Our analysis
A cult classic 1995 FPS that feels like a stepping stone between Wolfenstein 3D and Duke Nukem 3D, offering creative weapons and bizarre level design, but hampered by inconsistent difficulty pacing, weapon balance issues, and convoluted boss mechanics. Still the best way to play the original game today.

Our analysis
An exceptional remaster that includes all official Rise of the Triad content plus a substantial new episode with 20+ new levels. Civvie praises the maximum-effort port, comprehensive feature additions, and overall delivery.
