Our analysis
An excellent, effort-rich Nightdive remaster that runs at a silky 60fps with some of the best gyro aiming on Switch, dramatically cleaned-up sprites, reworked cutscenes, and a deep menu of accessibility and rendering options plus a developmental-history vault. The original game holds up well with strong level design and modern controls that make it far more playable, though it is single-player only and priced notably higher than other Nightdive remasters.

A faithful and accessible remaster of the classic 1995 FPS that successfully modernizes the game's visuals and performance while preserving its charm. Despite the original game's age and design limitations, the remaster makes it infinitely more playable for modern audiences.
