  Our analysis

Super Mario Kart is a decent multiplayer racing game with accessible mechanics, but the single-player campaign suffers from unfair AI rubber-banding and tedious track repetition. While it's fun in multiplayer, newer Mario Kart entries are better overall choices.

  Our analysis

Super Mario Kart has merit in its two-player battle mode but is an extremely difficult and acquired taste; the reviewer won't finish it again despite enjoying it in the past.
