Our analysis

A collection that still plays like a dream, with some of the series' best maps and three excellent new levels, but missing levels and Tony Hawk 4's career mode mean it isn't the near-perfect slam dunk 1+2 was. Still a top-notch skating package most people will enjoy.

Our analysis

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4 brings lovingly rebuilt stages and strong new levels, though removing career mode hurts. Switch 2 delivers smooth skating and good digital value, but crashes need fixing.

Our analysis

Still an excellent, wonderfully playable Tony Hawk remake with beautifully redone levels, three strong new maps, a great soundtrack, and a superb new Hawk multiplayer mode. It disappoints by retrofitting THPS4's open, mission-driven levels into the rigid trilogy format and burying the traditional solo tour behind an odd unlock progression, alongside several needless small changes that frustrate longtime fans.

Our analysis

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4 revives timeless arcade skating with beautifully remade levels and a promising create-a-goal editor. The loss of most original soundtrack songs and THPS4's shift to a two-minute timer are disappointing.

    Our analysis

A solid remake with fantastic gameplay and excellent level design, but compromises on content and personality compared to the originals. Jake recommends it to casual fans but feels disappointed by stripped career mode and missing details.

    Our analysis

An excellent remake compilation that updates two classic skateboarding games with improved visuals, gameplay, new challenges and locations. Highly recommendable for both veterans and newcomers, though the soundtrack reduction and some sacrificed original features prevent it from being completely rounded.
