Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze

Our analysis

Masterfully designed 2D platformer redefining the genre. Best platformer ever with perfect difficulty balance.

Our analysis

An incredible platformer that refines everything great about the Super Nintendo entries rather than reinventing them. Standout strengths are the meticulous character animation and physics, gorgeous detail-packed level design, and a David Wise soundtrack that beautifully merges with the gameplay. One of the best-looking games on the platform and a genuine labor of love.
