Our analysis
A disappointing Switch remaster of Assassin's Creed III. Frame rate problems in busy areas make combat and traversal a chore, audio glitches keep coming back, and the expected graphical upgrades are mostly missing. It still includes the full game, all the DLC and a nice HD version of Liberation.
Our analysis
Assassin's Creed III Remastered brings III and Liberation to Switch in a substantial package with enjoyable exploration and strong audio. Improved lighting impresses, but severe frame rate drops and an audio glitch hold it back.

A remaster of the Revolutionary War-era Assassin's Creed that squanders potential with poor pacing and slow opening, but redeems itself through bold narrative choices, historical setting, and engaging naval combat once the main character Connor finally takes the spotlight.
