A wait-for-sale entry with an excellent story, improved combat, a great day/night cycle and a steadier frame rate than Unity, held back by random bugs like sudden blackouts and lost sound plus enemy level scaling he dislikes.

Mack finds Assassin's Creed Syndicate not a bad game: Victorian London looks gorgeous, and the stealth, grappling hook and carriages are fun. But he calls it the same dumbed-down formula, won't finish it, and recommends it only to console players who like this style.
